e-Charlo accused Crawford of idle chatter: “He doesn’t even try to fight anyone”

The absolute champion of the first middleweight (up to 69.9 kg) American Jermell Charlo (35-1-1, 19 KOs) prefers not to pay attention to the statements of compatriot Terence Crawford (39-0, 30 KOs), who champions a category lower and claims that “will easily beat Charlo” when he rises to his division.

Charlo does not see that Crawford’s words were backed up by deeds, and is focusing on the next fight, in which he will face Australian challenger Tim Tszyu on January 28.

“I didn’t see his (last) fight and never heard of his opponent. Because I’m focused on what exactly lies ahead of me,” said Jermell. Everyone says they’ll beat this or that. But for now, all I see is that Crawford avoids PBC fighters in every possible way. He doesn’t even try to fight anyone.”

Meanwhile, Coach Ennis named Crawford’s weak point.
