Dustin Porier welcomes a fourth fight with Conor McGregor

The UFC’s number three ranked lightweight, Dustin Porier, has commented on his former rival Conor McGregor’s announcement that he plans to share the ocagon with him for a fourth time.

“I’ll probably say yes – I’ll try to shut him up once and for all,” MMAjunkie quoted the American as saying. “But even if I kick his ass again, it’s unlikely he’ll stop talking. We’ll see. Has his fight with Chandler been officially announced? I don’t know what’s going on, but our fourth fight is going to be a huge event. Our score with him is 2-1 in my favor. I don’t see much reason for this fight, but it’s going to be a big fight.”

Last week the Irishman, who suffered a badly fractured leg in his third fight with ‘Diamond’, revealed that he did not consider the issue with the American to be closed.

“Let’s be real – it has to be done. The issue is not closed,” McGregor wrote on social media in response to a fan’s related question.

The UFC’s plan is for Conor McGregor to resume his career and fight Michael Chandler next year, while Dustin Puryear, who suffered an early loss to Justin Gaethje in a challenger matchup in July, does not yet have a fight scheduled.
