Then the assessment of the chances was influenced by the recent victory of Justin Gaethje over Rafael Fiziev, as well as the lack of information that the fight would be a five-round one.
Today, UFC President Dana White officially announced that the top lightweight bout will be a title fight, with the BMF championship belt vacated by retired Jorge Masvidal at stake.
