Derrick Lewis, Serghei SPivac will try it again.

Promotional personnel revealed Thursday that Lewis will face Spivac at UFC Vegas 68,, which is scheduled for February 4 at UFC APEX. MMA Fighting was informed by a promotional official that the main fight will be the heavyweight bout.

The event was originally planned to be held in Seoul, South Korea. However, multiple sources with information about the plans have confirmed that MMA Fighting is now the venue.

Lewis and Spivac were scheduled to meet in the main event of UFC Vegas 65 in November, but the fight was scrapped during the broadcast after it was revealed Lewis suffered an illness, which then moved the light heavyweight bout between Kennedy Nzechukwu and Ion Cutelaba to the headline spot — a fight won by Nzechukwu.

Lewis is determined to rebound from his 2022 tough campaign that saw him lose back-to-back knockout defeats to Sergei Pavlovich and Tai Tuivasa.

Spivac will, however, still be able to fight in the most important fight of his career. He hopes to win his third consecutive victory and his sixth of seven overall.
