Denys Berinchyk held an open training session and raised money for the Ukrainian army: video

The silver medalist of the Olympic Games-2012, the current holder of the WBO International lightweight champion title (up to 61.2 kg), Ukrainian Denis Berinchyk (16-0, 9 KOs) held a charity open training session in the city of Zhytomyr (Ukraine).

According to the promotional company K2 Promotions Ukraine, everyone could take part in the event, and together they managed to raise 18,855 hryvnias, which will be donated to the needs of the Ukrainian army in the fight against Russian invaders.

The 34-year-old Berinchik fought his last fight in December last year, defeating Russian Isa Chaniev on points and defending the WBO International title for the sixth time.

Earlier it was reported that Denis’ return to the ring could take place in October in France against the local European champion Ivan Mendy. Subsequently, this information was indirectly confirmed by the promoter of the Ukrainian boxer Alexander Krasyuk.

At the end of winter, Denis Berinchyk stood up to protect Ukraine from Russian aggression, and recently showed a video on the turnstile.
