Commerce Casino, Commerce, California, USA. In the main event of the show, local welterweight prospect (up to 66.7 kg) Raul Curiel (12-0, 10 KOs) effortlessly knocked out American veteran Brad Solomon (29-6, 9 KOs).

In the 2nd round, he hit with a left uppercut, added a right overhand, and the underdog fell to the canvas. That’s all!

In the co-main bout of the evening, Mexican lightweight fighter (up to 61.2 kg) Diego De La Hoya (24-1, 11 KOs) beat his compatriot
Jose Gonzalez (23-11-1, 13 KOs).

The favorite had a tangible advantage from the starting gong. Dropped an opponent in the 3rd round, shook him in the next three minutes. In the 5th round, Gonzalez hit the floor for the second time.

In the 8th round, the underdog’s left eye almost closed. Apparently, the referee decided that there was a head-on collision. He stopped the fight and insisted that the judges read out their notes – unanimous 80-70 in favor of the favorite.

As part of the super middleweight (up to 76.2 kg) prospect from Mexico

In lightweight (up to 61.2 kg) Mexican-American
Houske Gonzalez (14-0-1, 12 KOs), younger brother of two-time challenger Joet Gonzalez, passed the Mexican not without problems
Ivana Garcia (26-11-2, 16 KOs).

The judges unanimously gave the victory to the prospect (97-93 and twice 98-92), but the fight turned out to be much more competitive than expected, and the favorite picked up punches well.

American in the same weight
Nicholas Sullivan (6-1, 1 KOs) lost in the prospect-clash to the Mexican
Angel Vasquez (12-0, 6 KOs).

The fight frankly did not work out. Vasquez was first fined by the referee (in the 5th round), but played the episode in the next three minutes due to a knockdown. The judges unanimously gave him the victory – three times 57-55.

The main card was opened by the age legend of women’s boxing. The ex-leader of the P4R rating, 41-year-old Colombian Cecilia Braekhus (37-2, 9 KOs), beat the former challenger in the first middleweight (up to 69.9 kg)
Marisa Portillo (19-16-3, 4 KOs) from Argentina.

The judges gave all the rounds to the legend – three times 60-54.
