Interestingly, Davis, who does not put his WBA World title on the line in this fight, has already pre-planned the next fight, and if he wins, he should meet another, more famous Garcia, Ryan, in April. He was also going to hold an intermediate performance, but in the end he abandoned the idea and preferred to wait for Gervonta idle.
Dominican Garcia is the reigning WBA world champion in the category below, at 59 kg, and will perform in lightweight for the first time. He made a lot of noise last year, first pulling off a sensational victory over top prospect Chris Colbert and then consolidating his success against the seasoned Roger Gutierrez.
Davis limited himself to one performance in 2022, knocking out Rolando Romero in May.

Ennis is one of the main representatives of the new wave of potential pro boxing stars, he has been exceptionally impressive so far, and the steep numbers of his record are by no means inflated. For example, in 2021, he knocked out ex-world champion Sergey Lipinets and once-top prospect Thomas Dulorme, and in the past, in just 2 rounds, he dealt with the previously unbeaten Castio Clayton. His series of early victories lasts for 19 fights.
Chukhadzhyan has also recently won exclusively ahead of schedule, but the level of opposition of boxers is simply incomparable – Jaron’s is several orders of magnitude higher. In addition, for Karen this is the first performance in the USA.
