Dana White’s Contender Series is expected to start sixth season in July 26

A new series of events will feature up-and-coming fighters who are looking for a place on the UFC roster. It is scheduled to start in July.

On Tuesday, the Nevada Athletic Commission approved 10 events for the sixth season of Dana White’s Contender Series, which takes place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas and will air Tuesday nights on ESPN+.

The first event is scheduled for July 26, with the season’s final episode set to take place Sept. 27.

DWCS usually features five fight cards, where prospects compete before UFC President Dana White and matchmakers Sean Shelby or Mick Maynard. The three men gather their thoughts and award UFC contracts at the conclusion of each event.

This season, 39, saw two more contracts than in the Season 4. record. Since July 2017. began, a total number of 156 contracts were given. This includes the 3-fight season with Brazilian fighters. Past contract winners include Geoff Neal and Alex Perez as well as Grant Dawson, Grant Dawson, Adrian Yanez and Maycee Barber.

The full lineups will be revealed as time goes on, although MMA Fighting has confirmed that a matchup between Vitor Petrino and Rodolfo Bellato is set for the Sept. 7 card.
