Dana White reacted to the Mike Tyson and Jake Paul fight

The head of the world’s strongest league, Dana White, shared his opinion on the upcoming boxing match between the legendary Mike Tyson and blogger Jake Paul, which was officially announced two weeks ago.

“I like Mike, and I hate talking about it because it always makes him mad at me,” the UFC head honcho said on Kamaru Usman and Henry Sejudo’s joint podcast. “But when the fight takes place, he’ll be 58 years old. The age difference between these two will be 31 years.”

“Jake Paul fought a guy his own age and lost. Yesterday I saw a joke online and reposted it. It said that if he beats Mike Tyson, his next opponent will be Clint Eastwood, who is 93 years old.”

Mike Tyson, 57, resumed his career in November 2020 after a fifteen-year hiatus, drawing an exhibition boxing match against 54-year-old Roy Jones Jr.

Jake Paul, 27, has nine victories in professional boxing, including wins over notable fighters such as Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz. The only defeat the youtuber suffered was against Britain’s Tommy Fury, to whom he lost by split decision.

The bout between “Iron Mike” and “Problem Child,” the regulations of which remain unknown at this time, will take place on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
