UFC President Dana White believes former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov could have been the greatest fighter ever. In his opinion, the Russian ended his career early.
“I think that Khabib could be called the greatest if he stayed with us longer. His father’s death was unfortunate. I think he just got to a point in his life where there was no other choice.
When there is so much money, everything changes. The fighting business is extremely difficult to get up and plow every day when you have that kind of money,” White said in an interview for the YouTube channel “THE FIGHT with Teddy Atlas”.
Recall that Khabib Nurmagomedov ended his career as a fighter in October last year. He had 29 fights in MMA and won all of them.
