Dana White made a statement on the main fight of the UFC 300 tournament

The head of the world’s strongest league, Dana White, who promised to announce the main event of UFC 300 this week, still has not decided on the headliners for the anniversary event, but he knows that the main event of the number one show will not disappoint the fans.

The head of the organization announced this to fans while speaking to them live on social media.

“When will you get the main event?” stated White. “You won’t be able to contain yourself when you find out it, but we’re working on a few options. Trust me, the main event fight of the UFC 300 tournament is going to be crazy.”

“We have several options for the main event and we’re still playing with it, I’m still playing with it. When the time comes, I’ll give you that.”

Either way, all the talk surrounding the main event of the anniversary show is centered around title fights in the middleweight and bantamweight divisions, however, a fight for the interim heavyweight title held by Brit Tom Aspinall has not been ruled out either.

As a reminder, UFC 300 will take place on April 13 in Las Vegas, and currently has on the card a women’s bantamweight title fight between Weili Zhang and Xiaonan Yang, as well as a BMF title bout between Justin Gaethje and Max Holloway, who will meet as part of the light heavyweight division.
