Dana White labels Jake Paul a “pay-perview turd” and scoffs at a matchup with Hasim Rahman Jr.

If Dana White had his druthers, he’d never hear Jake Paul’s name again.

Despite all his efforts, UFC President Paul can’t avoid asking questions about Paul. This is especially evident with White constantly slamming him through interviews and social networks.

The media circus surrounding Paul has only heated up with his next fight booked against Hasim Rahman Jr. in August, which has resulted in him frequently taking aim at White and the UFC’s business practices as far as its fighters are concerned.

Regardless of what’s been said, it doesn’t appear White has been paying too much attention.

“Is this still a thing?” White said when asked about Paul at the UFC Long Island post-fight press conference. “It isn’t to me. I could care less. You’re a pay-per view turd .”

White’s criticisms have been far-reaching beyond his personal feelings towards Paul. He has frequently criticized Paul’s fight career which saw him win over former UFC champions Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren.

That will change in his next fight as Paul is set to clash with Hasim Rahman Jr., who boasts a 12-1 career record but just suffered his first loss after falling to Kenzie Morrison by fifth-round knockout in April.

White couldn’t help wondering why Paul chose Rahman over the man who had just beaten him. But then, it wasn’t surprising that he did not sound as surprised.

” I saw that he was knocked unconscious by Tommy Morrison’s son,” White stated about Rahman Jr. Why wouldn’t you go after the guy that knocked him out?

“This is not my business. I’m in a different business than that. I’m in the tough fight business.”

White was open about his feelings for Paul and his drawing powers when White addressed the fight against Rahman Jr. that would be promoted by Showtime as a Pay-Per-View.

Originally Paul was to fight Tommy Fury in a match that was being called a “grudge match” between rivals. But the new matchup seems to be of less interest.

Paul and Rahman Jr. sparred before, but the heat doesn’t seem as intense as it was when Fury was involved. White expected that the fight would be pushed to pay-per view because there aren’t many other options for boxing right now.

White also shot at Showtime Sports President Stephen Espinoza. Espinoza has been at odds since they co-promoted the Floyd Mayweather card with Conor McGregor in 2017..

” That sounds like something the weasel might do,” White stated about Espinoza’s decision to put Paul vs. Rahman Jr. live on pay-per view. “To be honest with you, when you think about it, you’ve got Tyson Fury, he can’t get out of the country. Whatever else is going on in boxing?

” What else are they doing? Is there anything else they could be doing? I don’t know why they would do that again, but yeah.”

White would rather not hear Paul’s name ever again. It only adds fuel to the fire. He’d prefer that he be unable to breathe because of this.

” I know that you guys love to ask me stupid questions ***,, but this isn’t what I do,” White stated. “I’m at the point, all this stuff going back and forth, it’s silly for me to even f****** talk about it.”

Paul responded on Saturday night to White’s remarks about him and Nate Diaz.
