Dana White has revealed when he will announce the main event fight for UFC 300

The main event fight of the UFC 300 tournament will be announced this weekend in Anaheim, as revealed by the CEO of the world’s strongest league, Dana White, in an interview with Kevin Ayoola.

“I’m announcing it at the press conference this weekend,” the UFC chief said. “Yes, I’ll do it at the post-fight press conference.”

UFC 298 takes place Feb. 17 in Anaheim, with the main event being a featherweight title fight between reigning champion, Alexander Volkanovski, and the division’s No. 3 contender, Elijah Topuria.

Potential main events for the anniversary event remain the welterweight, middleweight, middleweight, and bantamweight title fights, as well as a fight for the interim heavyweight title.

Recently, popular Chechen fighter Khamzat Chimaev and current UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones announced their refusal to participate in UFC 300.

Recall that the UFC 300 tournament will be held on April 13 in Las Vegas.
