Dalakyan will have an away defense, the “royal” belt from the WBC

On November 5 in Oberhausen (Germany), WBC International heavyweight champion (over 90.7 kg) Zhan Kosobutsky (18-0, 17 KOs) from Kazakhstan will fight with a certain Hussein Mukhamed (17-0, 14 KOs) from Germany.

On November 18, in Savignano sul Rubicone (Italy), local 43-year-old middleweight veteran (up to 72.6 kg) Matteo Signani (31-6-3, 11 KOs) will try to return the EBU European champion belt in revenge, which is debatable lost in June in a confrontation with the French Anderson Presto (26-2, 13 KOs).

The WBC presented to the public a new souvenir – “Elizabeth’s belt”. It is dedicated to Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain and her “70-year reign of the monarchy.” The new middleweight champion (up to 72.6 kg) will receive the belt – on October 15 in London (Great Britain) the unbeaten Clarissa Shields (12-0, 2 KOs) from the USA and Savannah Marshall (12-0, 10 KOs) from England. The fight was supposed to take place earlier, but was postponed due to the death of Queen Elizabeth.


It seems that the new IBF champion in the second featherweight (up to 59 kg) will be determined on November 5 in Abu Dhabi (UAE). Opening up for light heavyweights Dmitry Bivol and Gilberto Ramirez, Shavkatjon Rakhimov (16-0-1, 13 KOs) from Tajikistan and Zelfa Barrett (28-1, 16 KOs) from Britain will play for the suddenly vacated belt.

The WBA world champion in the flyweight (up to 50.8 kg) 35-year-old Ukrainian Artyom Dalakyan (21-0, 15 KOs) will most likely hold a mandatory defense against Costa Rican David Jimenez (12-0, 9 KOs) on the road . The mandatory challenger team claims they made a last-minute amicable deal with the champion team and avoided promotional bidding. The date of the fight has not yet been announced.

The mandatory challenger for Dalakyan was determined in July – Jimenez upset Ricardo Sandoval. And in August, the WBA officially sanctioned this fight.
