Cyril Gan: “The fight with Spivak will be a big test”

Cyril Gan:

Former Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion Cyril Gan has spoken about what he expects from his upcoming fight with Sergei Spivak, who will headline UFC Fight Night 226 in Paris on September 2.

“Tai Tuivasa was a spectacular and dangerous guy – Spivak doesn’t look like that, but he is even more dangerous because he can hit, wrestle and work on the ground,” the Frenchman told The Sun. “This fight will be a big test for me. He’s a new guy, just moved up to the top five, and he’s a good fighter – versatile and dangerous. I look forward to the opportunity to test myself and please the French fans with a bright performance – I am sure that we will not make the fans bored and will show an exciting fight.”

Currently, Cyril Gan and Sergey Spivak, representing Moldova, occupy the first and eighth lines in the UFC heavyweight division rankings, respectively.
