Curtis Blades gave a bold prediction for his fight with Tom Aspinall

Having defeated Tom Aspinall in 15 seconds two years ago, UFC heavyweight number four Curtis Blades doesn’t think his upcoming fight with the division’s interim champion will last much longer.

“I can see myself knocking him out in the first 25 seconds of the fight,” the American said in an interview with James Lynch. “I knew I’d have another opportunity to fight him again, but the fact that it’s a title fight is even poetic in a way.”

“Razor” doesn’t believe current UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones will return to the octagon after his fight with Stipe Miocic, so he believes he’s fighting the Brit for the full championship belt.

“Yes, he can prove me wrong, but I don’t believe John will continue to fight after the fight with Stipe. He’ll have to prove me wrong, but that’s my opinion at the moment.”

As a reminder, the interim title fight between Tom Aspinall and Curtis Blades will be the second main event of UFC 304 on July 27 in Manchester, while Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic are rumored to headline UFC 309 in New York on November 9.
