Caribe Royale Orlando, Orlando, USA. In the main event of the traditional annual show WBA-KO Drugs Cuban Super Lightweight Prospect (up to 63.5 kg)
Orestes Velasquez (6-0, 6 KOs) celebrated the sixth early victory – the Argentine was defeated
Guillermo Crocco (20-3-1, 6 KOs).

Velazquez did not even have time to really get involved in the fight, as it had already ended. After the first round, Crocco capitulated on a stool – injured his right shoulder, refused to continue the fight.

The vacant WBA International title was said to be on the line.

Velasquez RTD 1.

In the super middleweight limit (up to 76.2 kg), the Olympic medalist from Brazil Yamaguchi Falcao (24-1-1, 10 KOs) passed the age journiman from Ghana Ernest Amuzu (26-8, 22 KOs). The regional NABA North American title was on the line.

The Brazilian relied on body shots, the African tried to counter. In the 2nd round, Falcao dropped the veteran with a jock. In the next three minutes, he kneaded the opponent at the ropes.

Another fall of the underdog was recorded in the 7th round. The African rose to his feet, but he looked unconvincing. The referee stopped the fight.

Falcao TKO 7.

As part of the show, two more fights were to take place: the legendary veteran from Argentina, the age middleweight (up to 72.6 kg) Sergio Martinez (55-3-2, 30 KOs) planned to beat american journeyman
Noah Kidda (6-6-2, 5 KOs), and nIcaraguan bantamweight prospect (up to 53.5 kg) Melvin Lopez (28-1, 19 KOs) had to fight Jobert Alvarez (20-3-2, 7 KOs) from the Philippines.

So far, there is no news about these results (or about the reason for canceling fights).
