Friedrich-Ebert-Halle, Ludwigshafen, Germany. In the heavyweight limit (over 90.7 kg), the Ukrainian traveler Konstantin Dovbyshchenko (9-12-1, 6 KOs) lost to the world championship winner Cuban prospect Jose Larduet (9-0, 7 KOs).

The fight frankly did not work out – it turned out to be sluggish and with a minimum of exacerbations. In positional boxing, the Cuban was expectedly better than the Ukrainian – the judges unanimously gave him the victory.
