Former world champion in four categories Mikey Garcia shared his opinion about the upcoming megafight for the title of absolute welterweight champion (up to 66.7 kg) between the current champions from the USA Errol Spence (28-0, 22 KOs) and Terence Crawford (38-0, 29 KO).

Recall, earlier it became known that the boxers agreed on all the important points of the contract and are preparing to enter the ring on November 19 in Las Vegas (USA).

It is worth noting that Garcia boxed against Spence and suffered a crushing defeat on points in March 2019.

“I think it will be a super fight. Chances? 50 to 50. But if I had to choose, I’m leaning towards Crawford,” Mikey said. “I guess he can adapt a little better than Errol during the fight. In turn, Spence is great at picking up the distance and is able to control it with short movements. In general, a difficult choice, but I think, probably, still Crawford.

“My advice to Spence? Get in the best possible shape. Train hard and get in the ring absolutely ready,” said Garcia. “They each have power, but they are top notch and too smart to knock each other out. No, I think it will be a very technical fight. To be honest, I think the chances are absolutely equal, and when I say that I’m leaning towards Crawford, I do it just instinctively, I guess. This is one case where I can’t explain why.”

Mikey isn’t the only one having trouble picking a presumed winner. So, Devin Haney got tired with the forecast. But Eddie Hearn unequivocally decided on the favorite.
