promotion company BLK Prime reported on the start of the sale of entrance tickets to the boxing evening, which will be held on December 10 at the arena CHI Health Center in Omaha (USA) – local legend and current WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford (38-0, 29 KOs) will fight with Russian David Avanesyan (29-3-1, 17 KOs).

According to the promoter, in the first two days of sales, almost 10 thousand entrance tickets were sold (the approximate capacity of the arena is 17.5 thousand spectators). The organizers are expecting a full house, as Crawford has not fought in his native Omaha since 2018.

Despite a steep start, observers are expecting a solid financial loss.
Explains collaborating with RVS Al Haymon Mark Ortega: “This will bring the organizers less than 2 million USD. Don’t forget that they only spent 10 million USD on the fee of one fighter (Crawford). (Financially) this fight is a massacre. Unless they sell an unrealistic amount of PPV broadcasts.”

Meanwhile, Crawford’s former rival made a prediction for his fight with Avanesyan. And the top contender trolls the champion for picking an opponent: Terence, if you’re your own boss, why didn’t you call us?
