Conor McGregor responds to challenge from former world boxing champion

Former double UFC champion Conor McGregor is ready to share the octagon with former world boxing champion Carl Froch, who announced his desire to fight him under the rules of mixed martial arts.

The British boxer announced his readiness to try his hand at MMA on his YouTube channel, discussing hypothetical fights against blogger Jake Paul and Conor McGregor.

“None of them can box, can they?” Froch said. “I’m too big and strong for any of them. For Jake Paul, I only need one arm. Conor can give me a little trouble, but he’s too small. I would not even begin to prepare especially for fights with them. ”

“If I fought Conor McGregor in a cage, I would train harder because it is a cage. There is a chance that in this case I may be in a position from which I cannot get out, but I would still accept this fight. Think it’s funny? It’s still too small.”

The Irishman’s answer was not long in coming.

“Eddie Hearn, let’s get this organized!” McGregor wrote to the famous British promoter.

45-year-old Carl Froch, who retired nine years ago, competed in the super middleweight division (up to 76 kg), where he held the WBC, IBF and WBA titles.

34-year-old Conor McGregor is currently filming the 31st season of TUF and plans to fight American Michael Chandler before the end of the year.
