Former double UFC champion Conor McGregor claims that after he returns to the octagon and knocks out Michael Chandler, fans can expect regular performances and great things from him.
“It will not just be a comeback – it will be the greatest comeback in the history of martial arts,” said the Irishman in an interview with Megan Olivy. “You will see my foot crash into his head. He’s just built to be kicked – that’s what I expect from a fight. This steel pin in my leg will blow his head off.”
“It’s time to get back into the game and I’m happy to be able to finally get back. What do I hope for? I hope for a hundred more fights, I hope for consistency, I hope for a run. Lately I’ve been performing and not, but now I’m going to do everything consistently and constantly, and I hope that I will succeed. ”
The welterweight bout between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler will reportedly headline one of the last two numbered events of the year, taking place in November and December.
