Former double UFC champion, Conor McGregor, has decided to remind fans of himself by capitalizing on their interest in the main event of the UFC 300 anniversary tournament, which remains undisclosed for now.
“McGregor at UFC 300 – the question is settled,” the Irish fighter wrote on social media.
This statement was not ignored by Michael Chandler, who still hopes that he will be able to share the octagon with McGregor.
“I’m accepting. I’ll see you soon. UFC 300,” the American replied.
Late last year Conor McGregor announced that his fight with Michael Chandler would take place in the middleweight division and will take place on June 29 in Las Vegas, however, a week ago UFC head, Dana White, said that the Irishman will indeed return this year, but the issue of his opponent and the date of the fight is still unresolved.
Recall that the UFC 300 tournament will be held on April 13 in Las Vegas.
