Conor McGregor has admitted to his drinking spree

Former UFC double champion, Conor McGregor, has publicly admitted what has long been a secret to no one, as with a glass of whiskey in his hand he is seen more often than not in the gym.

The Irishman revealed his alcohol abuse in a conversation with American Michael Chandler, who is expected to be his next opponent, although the realization of this scenario looks increasingly doubtful.

“This is going to be the best camp of my life. Needed a break,” the American wrote on social media, posting a training video.

“I booze every night and I’ll still beat the de*** out of you,” the Irishman replied, soon deleting the message in question.

As recently as a week ago, McGregor announced that his fight with Chandler, scheduled for later in the year, would not take place because the Nevada State Athletic Commission refused to allow him to fight without a clearance from the American Anti-Doping Agency, which insists on a six-month doping testing period, and two days ago, the former UFC champion posted a fake announcement of a fight with Chandler, which is supposedly scheduled to headline UFC 296 in Las Vegas on December 16.
