Conor McGregor criticized the act of Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia

Former two-weight UFC champion Conor McGregor called undefeated lightweight boxers Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia’s decision to put their entire fee on the line for the upcoming fight stupid.

“Did it happen that the fighters agreed to put their fee on the line, and then kept their word?” The Irishman wrote on the social network. “Anyway, we need to stop doing this. Fights are hard work, and the outcome can be anything. Luck plays an important role. Don’t say you’re pitting your royalties against each other because that has never happened and never will. And it’s stupid. Train hard, fight with all your might, and earn your piece of bread. And then enjoy life. God bless you”

“I’m making more than the entire roster put together, so it’s impossible,” he added, responding to a fan who suggested he make a similar bet with Michael Chandler. “I could put in a part, but it’s funny, so no. It’s a game, and the longer you’re in it, the tougher it gets. I save my hard-earned money for my loved ones.”

Recall that the lightweight fight between Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia will take place on April 22 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, and Conor McGregor plans to share the octagon with Michael Chandler before the end of the year.
