Conor McGregor advises UFC to sign PFL champion

Former double UFC champion Conor McGregor believes that the scouts of the strongest league in the world should turn their attention to Briton Brendan Lochnain, who the day before defeated American Bubba Jenkins by technical knockout in the fourth round and became the PFL featherweight champion.

UFC, sign Brendan Lochnain! Spectacular fighter with history in the organization. And he’s from Europe – his signing will attract European and British audiences. Congratulations on your win, Brendan!” the Irishman wrote on the social network.

Speaking of history, McGregor is referring to Lochnain’s Dana White’s Contender Series win, when UFC President Dana White criticized the Brit for a takedown in the last seconds of the fight and didn’t sign him into the organization.

Not receiving a contract with the UFC, in the same 2019, Brendan Lohnain signed an agreement with the PFL, where he won eight victories and suffered one loss by a split decision in the confrontation with Movlid Khaibulaev.
