Colby Covington reacts to Belal Muhammad's victory

Despite winning the challenger against Gilbert Burns, Belal Muhammad will have to fight one more fight before fighting for the UFC Welterweight Championship, division number two Colby Covington is confident.

“There was no title chance on the line,” Chaos told Submission Radio. “Do you think that now he will sit idle until the beginning of 2024? Because the title fight is postponed to the end of the year. It will be autumn, winter, and do you think he can just sit it out? Is he so stellar that he can just sit it out and then demand a title shot? No, he will have to fight again, and rightly so.”

The American also shared his thoughts on the upcoming title fight with Leon Edwards, who has no official date yet.

“I know the fight has been postponed. Maybe it will be September, but nothing is booked yet. The sooner it happens, the better for me. I am ready 24/7, 365 days a year. If the fight is today, I’m ready. If tomorrow, I’m ready too”

“This fight is nothing more than a formality. Everyone knows that Leon Edwards is in the wrong place. And his new name is “Idiot Leon”. I advise you guys to find out something about him. What is his level of education? Did he even finish high school? Because his IQ is so low he’s stupid like Biden.”

Earlier, Leon Edwards, who owns the UFC welterweight title, announced that he would like to defend his championship belt on October 21 at UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi.
