Coach McGregor: “Conor will return at the beginning of the summer, we have not yet returned to training”

UFC fighter Conor McGregor’s trainer John Kavanagh spoke about the timing of the Irishman’s return to the octagon.

“We have not yet returned to MMA training, but he wants to show all his strength and fitness and is approaching this issue wisely. There is no one who uses defeat to fuel himself, to learn something new about his body, learn something new about training, come back and succeed.

I would say that Conor will return at the beginning of the summer. I’m sure we’ll have the right time to celebrate Christmas and then set a time to return,” Kavanagh is quoted as saying by MMA Junkie.

McGregor, 33, is currently recovering from a broken leg sustained in a fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264.
