A middleweight bout between former UFC champion, Chris Weidman, and former M-1 titleholder, Bruno Silva, will fill out the card for the UFC event, which takes place March 30 in Atlantic City.
Informed sources close to the situation have reported that both fighters have verbally agreed to fight, though contracts for the bout have not yet been signed.
Chris Weidman, 39, resumed his career last August after suffering a severe leg fracture in a fight against Juraj Hall, losing a three-round unanimous decision to Brad Tavares.
Bruno Silva, 34, also suffered two straight defeats, losing by rear-naked choke to Brendan Allen and losing by unanimous decision to Sharabutdin Magomedov.
Neither fighter is currently ranked in the top 15 of the UFC’s middleweight division.
