UFC on ESPN 34 tournament bout

The fight will take place on April 17 in Las Vegas (Nevada, USA) at the UFC Apex sports complex and will be part of the UFC on ESPN 34 preliminary card. The estimated start of the fight is 02:30 Kyiv time.

Heavyweight Chris Barnett (22-7) will welcome promotion debutant Martin Budai (9-1) into the octagon.

The unathletic-looking 175cm heavyweight Barnett made his UFC debut last May with a submission choke loss to veteran veteran Ben Rothwell. And in November, Barnett made headlines with a spectacular second-round roundhouse knockout of Gian Villante, one of the most spectacular knockouts of the year in MMA.

Budai earned a spot on the UFC roster after winning Dana White’s Contender Series last October, knocking out one Lorenzo Hood in a round.

Prediction for the fight

Barnett is distinguished in the cage by his spectacle, and there is every reason to believe that during his upcoming fight, too, you will not be bored. Barnett, despite his physique, is an agile and highly talented drummer. In purely technical terms, he is superior to his opponent, who can also be considered a drummer.

Barnett can, due to his non-standard style, cause certain problems for the Slovak at the beginning of the fight, but over time, the huge difference in size and the American’s fatigue will affect. When Barnett runs out of steam, Budai will take over and finish the Huggy Bear with his powerful punches.
