Chimaev drops down, Aspinall rises in UFC rankings

Tom Aspinall, who knocked out Sergey Pavlovich ten days ago in a fight for the interim UFC heavyweight championship belt, improved his position on the UFC’s P4P list, moving up two spots to twelfth place in the organization’s rankings of the best fighters regardless of weight class.

By moving up, the British heavyweight moved down Max Holloway and Kamara Usman, who found themselves in thirteenth and fourteenth position, respectively.

Another change in the rankings of the world’s strongest league was a reshuffle in the middle division, as a result of which Chechen fighter Khamzat Chimaev moved from eighth to ninth place, losing his place to Brendan Allen. Last weekend, the American earned his sixth consecutive victory in the organization by finishing Scotsman Paul Craig with a rear-naked choke in the third round.

Another middleweight who lost ground in the rankings was Sweden’s Jack Hermansson, who dropped from ninth to tenth position.

The updated rating is published on the official website of the organization.
