Former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira, who is set to share the octagon with Russian Arman Tsarukyan in a month’s time, made fans worried by appearing with a dissection in another video posted on social media.
Last year the Brazilian pulled out of his title fight against Islam Makhachev two weeks before the fight, suffering a severe cut over his right eye, and this time a large gash appears over Oliveira’s left eye.
The Brazilian himself and representatives of his team have not made any statements on the matter, so it’s not yet known if the upcoming contender fight is in jeopardy.
Recall that the fight between Charles Oliveira and Arman Tsarukyan should be part of the UFC 300 anniversary tournament, which will be held on April 13 in Las Vegas, and its winner will be the main challenger for the UFC lightweight championship belt, currently held by Russian Islam Makhachev.
