The fight will take place on September 17 at T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas. The previous two fights took place here: in September 2017, a controversial draw was recorded, and 12 months later, the Mexican won the minimum.

Interestingly, the third confrontation will be served by 2 of the 3 judges who worked in the second fight – Dave Moretti and Steve Weisfeld. It is also noteworthy that they both then gave the victory to Alvarez with a score of 115-113.

David Sutherland will be the third to serve the fight, and the referee of the bout will appoint Russell Maura, Jr.

On the line in Canelo vs Golovkin 3 is the undisputed super middleweight title that the Mexican won last November. The previous two bouts between the antagonists were ranked lower in the division.

On the eve of the third fight, Golovkin said: “I am loved in Mexico, but Canelo is not loved in Kazakhstan. And here are the predictions from the ex-world champions. One believes that Alvarez can burn out before the fight, and the second is sure that Canelo will beat Golovkin unconscious.
