Canelo Alvarez rated Usyk’s chances against Fury

Praising the multifaceted boxing talents of IBF/WBO/WBA heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs), Mexican boxing superstar Saul “Canelo” Alvarez still believes that it will be extremely difficult for a Ukrainian to defeat such a thug as British WBC champion Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs).

“Usyk is a really great fighter, I’ve been following him for a long time,” Alvarez said.
Behind The Gloves. “He’s a great fighter with a lot of skills.”

But, as is often the case, followed by a “but”. This case was no exception.

“But I think Fury has it all – weight, boxing skills… I think Usyk will have a hard time,” Canelo said, but refrained from predicting.

Fury even said the other day that he is “an improved version of Usyk.” Alexander’s manager has a different opinion: he called Fury a laughingstock – they say, he “runs away from Usyk.”
