Turning Stone Resort & Casino, Verona, NY, USA. In the welterweight limit (up to 66.7 kg), the American prospect
Brian Norman Jr. (23-0, 19 KOs), who missed the whole of 2022, beat the Argentine not without problems
Rodrigo Damiana Coria (10-5, 2 KOs) in an incredibly wild fight.

Norman apparently bet on an early knockout. He shook his opponent, but the ropes saved him from falling. Corea began to snarl, the fight evened out. The favorite folded in workrate, it is possible that he quickly ran out of steam.

In the 7th round, the underdog already touched Norman, was close to a knockdown. He resisted. In the 8th three-minute period, it was as if they were filming a movie from Rocky Balboa franchise: at first Norman soloed, but missed the counterattack and lost the initiative. Then the favorite still got together and even dropped Koria.

Brian decided to go for finishing moves and almost got caught on it – missed, survived by the ropes until the gong. Crazy fight. Sometimes the best fights of a show are found in an early card…

The score of the judges: twice 77-74 and a clearly biased 79-72 in favor of the favorite.

It was cool.

American featherweight prospect (up to 59 kg)
Haven Brady Jr. (9-0, 4 KOs) passed the Colombian knockout
Rubena Serveru (13-4, 11 KOs).

Brady controlled the course of the battle, led the fight to a landslide victory. But at the end of the 5th round, he was shocked by two overhands in a row. Luckily, the gong sounded immediately.

The favorite slightly lost confidence, allowing the opponent to level the course of the battle. The backlog was enough to win. The score of the judges: 78-74, 79-73 and even 80-72.

In the light heavyweight limit (up to 79.4 kg), unbeaten Americans met in prospect-clash
Dante Benjamin (5-0, 3 KOs) and
Emmanuel Austin (6-1, 6 KOs).

The fight ended already in the starting round. And it wasn’t the puncher who won. Benjamin shocked his opponent, sent him into a heavy knockdown. He rose to his feet, but was immediately beaten to the go-ahead of the referee.

Benjamin TKO 1.

Impressed!

Bright featherweight prospect (up to 57.2 kg) American
Bruce Carrington (6-0, 3 KOs) failed to knock out Mexican-born journiman
Juan Antonio Lopez (17-13-1, 7 KOs).

This time “Shu-Shu” was not impressed. He confidently and without question passed the opponent, but did not even try to delay it. It was a fight, strongly reminiscent of sparring. The score of the judges: three times 60-54.

Carrington UD 6.
