Lorenzo Hunt proved that no matter how bad things get, he just needs one punch to land, and did it ever in the main event of BKFC’s Knucklemania 3.
Hunt defeated interim champion Mike Richman to defend his light heavyweight title in an intense headliner at Albuquerque’s Tingley Coliseum.
Richman started off brilliantly, punching Hunt repeatedly with combinations and punches. Hunt was on the ropes in defensive mode before getting dropped.

Austin Trout batters gritty Diego Sanchez for doctor’s stoppage win
Sanchez had some success early on, making it gritty. But Trout made use of his boxing skills to take out Sanchez for the majority of the first round. Trout then ripped open Sanchez, the former UFC champion. The second round saw more of the same. Trout outboxed Sanchez and maintained his superior boxing skills. He used sound defense to prevent any serious damage, even showing off at times.
After a solid third round, Trout did even more damage in his fourth. He knocked down Sanchez, but Sanchez, who is always durable, was able get to his feet. With 14 seconds left in the round, the doctors looked at the bloody face of Sanchez before stopping the fight.
John Dodson obliterates Jarod Grant for another first-round finish
John Dodson continues his post-UFC success as he beat Jarod Grant before his Albuquerque crowd.
Dodson picked up his second straight first-round finish inside the BKFC ring with a brutal knockout of Grant at 1:41 of the opening frame. Grant was dropped by “The Magician”, who used his speed to drop Grant using a combination. Grant was able to get back to his feet, but as the action was about to resume, Grant slowly began to collapse to the mat and the fight was stopped.

Josh Watson spoils Greg Hardy‘s BKFC debut with stunning knockout
Josh Watson won the largest win of his professional career, knocking out Greg Hardy (former UFC fighter) in round 2. This was to ruin Hardy’s promotion debut.
Watson came out with a big flurry to get Hardy’s attention. Hardy began to land jabs and then blitzed in with his right hand. Hardy’s size and reach was obvious, but Watson hit a huge shot that knocked Hardy in the ropes. Hardy was likely saved by the bell, as Hardy was already in serious trouble.

Watson sustained a severe cut to his left eye as the first round began. However, he was able continue. It was good that he kept going, as a quick combination by Watson that floored Hardy ended the fight.
