Promoter Eddie HearnMatchroom Boxing) claims that he is ready to let go of the WBA Super light heavyweight champion Russian Dmitry Bivol (20-0, 11 KOs) – will give the fighter the opportunity to fight with the owner of the rest of the division belts compatriot-knockout Artur Beterbiev (18-0, 18 KOs) as part of the show Bob Arum (Top Rank).

Previously, there were rumors that this fight was impossible due to the fact that the champions compete on competing platforms: Bivol fights on
streaming DAZN at Hearn, and Beterbiev – on ESPN channel at Arum.

With his message, Hearn made it clear that they were serious: “The fight Bivol vs Beterbiev does not have to take place on DAZN. I see no problem in making it on ESPN. The question is, do they really want this fight?”

In fact, Hearn is clearly not going to give this fight to anyone. After thinking about the topic for a bit, he even offered to arrange a “blind bet” with Arum: “We write our proposals on the amount on sheets of paper, put them in envelopes. Whoever offers more – he makes the show.

Boss Matchroom Boxing hints that it is Beterbiev’s side that is trying in every possible way to disrupt the fight – earlier, the WBC, IBF and WBO champions said that the next fight would be held in October in Britain against the local ex-challenger Anthony Yard.

Hearn seems to have no doubt that with the help of DAZN will outbid Arum / ESPN. But it is unlikely that his bluff will work.

Meanwhile, Anthony Yarde spoke out about the fight with Beterbiev. Rumor has it that the arena has already been chosen. The flamboyant coach of the Briton assures: “I thought Beterbiev was faster.”
