UFC lightweight number four, Benil Dariush, opened as a narrow favorite in a potential fight against former division-leading champion Charles Oliveira.
At the moment, the odds for Dariush to win are 1.833 (probability 54.55%), while Oliveira’s success is estimated at 2 (probability 50.00%).
The bookies have released the starting odds after the American told The Schmo that a fight with the Brazilian is in development and tentatively scheduled for May.
Both fighters had their last fights on October 22 at UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi – Charles Oliveira lost ahead of schedule to Islam Makhachev in the main event for the vacant title, and Benil Dariush extended his winning streak to eight matches, winning by unanimous decision against Mateusz Gamrot.
