Bellator fighter Moldavian: “Revenge for Fedor? Bader didn’t burn down anyone’s house, didn’t steal money from anyone.”

Bellator fighter Moldavsky spoke about his opponent Ryan Bader

Interim Bellator heavyweight champion Valentin Moldavsky, in an interview with SE, spoke about the danger of his rival, Bellator champion Ryan Bader, in the first place. The fight will take place on January 29 early in the morning Moscow time at the Bellator 273 tournament in Phoenix (Arizona, USA).

– The most dangerous thing Bader has?

– Functionality. Well, yes, he has this hook, but I will not say that he directly stood out in the rack. He fights well, of course, controls, he has a normal set of skills. But the fact that he breathes well is the most important thing.

Can we see a grappling fight?

– I wouldn’t want to (laughs). This is usually for a long time. I would like something faster.

– I think if you ask the fans, they will say that your fight can just last a long time.

“I wouldn’t like that very much. I know how to fight such fights – as practice shows, if I drag an opponent into deep waters, then I manage to take [поздние] rounds. But Bader is a guy who also knows how to do this, and he has more experience in this, so you should not play with him for a long time. He has never lost a decision in his entire career, so it’s probably better without a fight.

– Before the fight between Nemkov and Bader, Vadim was constantly asked: “Will you avenge Fedor?”

“I will not avenge anyone. Vadim and Fedor had fights with Bader, these are their fights, this is a sport, someone lost, and someone won. There is no such thing as revenge … He didn’t burn down anyone’s house, he didn’t steal money from anyone, so I don’t perceive this fight that way.
