Bellator 300 tournament loses men’s title fight

With five days until the event, the Bellator 300 tournament has lost one title fight out of the four announced on the card.

Informed sources close to the situation report that Bellator’s number one ranked heavyweight, Linton Vassell, has pulled out of his fight against reigning champion Ryan Bader due to an undisclosed medical condition.

The cancellation of the title match ruins the plans of the organization’s best fighter regardless of weight, Vadim Nemkov, who vacated the Bellator bantamweight belt and was going to challenge the winner of this fight.

Thus, three title fights remain on the card of the anniversary show – a lightweight clash between Usman Nurmagomedov and Brent Primus, which will headline the event, a women’s bantamweight bout between Cris Cyborg and Cat Zingano, and a women’s bout in the lightest division between Liz Carmouche and Ilima Lei-McFarlane.

As a reminder, the Bellator 300 tournament will take place on October 7 in San Diego.
