Welcome, Alexander Shabliy to the Bellator title image.
The 29-year old Russian defeated Brent Primus, former Bellator lightweight champion with a second-round knockout in Bellator 282.. Shabliy used his sick counter skills and slick boxing to first blast Primus with a one two off a high kick, before he threw down a follow-up combination. Sensing the end, Shabliy then swarmed with punches to secure the biggest win of his career at 1:22 of the second round.
