Belal Muhammad will travel to Dagestan to join Khabib’s team

The UFC’s number two ranked welterweight, Belal Muhammad, will soon travel to Dagestan, where he will spend one of the stages of preparation for his title fight against Briton Leon Edwards.

This was reported in social network by the manager of the American, Ali Abdelaziz, after which Muhammad personally confirmed this information.

On the eve of the news that the welterweight title fight between Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad will take place on April 13 at UFC 300 in Las Vegas, however, representatives of the strongest league in the world have not yet made any official statements on the matter.

Apparently, in Russia, the American fighter will join the team of Khabib Nurmagomedov, with whom he has already been preparing for the fight against Shawn Brady.

Belal Muhammad is riding a five-fight win streak, having won a unanimous decision over former championship belt challenger Gilbert Burns in his last fight, while Leon Edwards made his second successful title defense in December, defeating Colby Covington by unanimous decision.
