The fourth number of the UFC welterweight division, Belal Muhammad, commented on the statement of Khamzat Chimaev, who recently announced that four potential opponents had already refused to fight him.
The American fighter, with his usual humor, suggested that Nick Diaz, Tony Ferguson, mixed martial arts veteran Chris Lieben, and elderly wrestler Bret Hart refused to confront the Borz.
“The four opponents who said no were Nick Diaz, Tony Ferguson, Bret Hart and Chris Lieben,” Muhammad wrote on the social network.
Previously, Muhammad has repeatedly stated his desire to share the octagon with Chimaev, however, UFC matchmakers have not yet shown interest in organizing a potential challenger fight between the fourth and third number of the division.
Two months ago, Belal Muhammad extended his winning streak to four fights, finishing with a second-round technical knockout of Sean Brady, while Khamzat Chimaev won his sixth consecutive UFC victory in September, choking Kevin Holland in the third minute of the match.
