The head of the Top Rank promotional company Bob Arum is no longer sure that the WBO welterweight world champion (up to 66.7 kg) American Terence Crawford (38-0, 29 KOs) will be able to win the fight for the absolute championship in the category and compatriot Errol Spence (28-0, 22 KOs), who owns three titles in other prestigious versions.

Recall that Crawford from the very beginning of his career played for Top Rank, but not so long ago he parted ways with the company, and far from being positive.

“I don’t know (whether Crawford can beat Spence). I always thought Crawford was the best fighter, but now I have no idea what’s in Terence’s head,” says Arum. Spence showed that your mind must be clear in order to make the right decisions, but can Terence do it now? I don’t have an answer to that question.”

“I have no idea,” Bob says when asked if we will ever see a Crawford-Spence fight. “Terence is not under contract with us, so it’s definitely not our problem.”
