Artem Reznikov announced further plans after losing the ACA Grand Prix final

The participant of the ACA lightweight Grand Prix, Artem Reznikov, who suffered a crushing defeat from Eduard Vartanyan in the final match of the competition, has signed a new agreement with the Russian league, designed for four fights.

“I’m an ACA league fighter again,” a Kazakh representative said in an interview. “Vestnik MMA”. “A contract for four fights. If you manage to take the title, the agreement will be extended. The fee is very good. I did not bargain, I just asked, and they answered – yes, of course. I don’t think any league in the world could offer me a higher fee. Neither the UFC, nor Bellator, and even more so, the leagues in the CIS “

Reznikov plans to fight his first fight under a new agreement with the organization at the end of this year against the Russian Ali Bagov, who occupies the sixth line in the ACA lightweight rating.

“This is not yet certain, but most likely, Ali Bagov will be my first opponent under the new contract. This is a fight that everyone has been waiting for for two years for sure. And I finally want to spend with him not a training session, but a fight. I just want to say – Ali, stop training, sign a contract for a fight in December, and we’ll just fight you! It’s more fun than training together.”

At the moment, 31-year-old Artem Reznikov closes the top three in the ACA lightweight division. Before the defeat from Vartanyan, Reznikov had five fights in the organization, winning all of them, including three ahead of schedule.
