The ninth number of the UFC lightweight division, Arman Tsarukyan, is ready to share the octagon with Charles Oliveira, who announced that he is looking for an opponent for March or April.
“Sounds good,” the Russian fighter wrote on the social network, quoting an interview with the Brazilian.
Earlier, in an interview with AgFight, Oliveira announced that he plans to get a candidate fight in the spring, and at the end of the year to get a title rematch with Islam Makhachev, whom he lost ahead of schedule in October last year.
The Brazilian fighter, who occupies the first line in the division, clarified that his opponent should go on a winning streak and be a participant in the candidates’ race, and Arman Tsarukyan only returned his career to a successful track in December after losing to Mateusz Gamrot, defeating Damir Ismagulov by unanimous decision.
At the same time, Oliveira made it clear that he believes in the victory of Makhachev, who on February 11 at UFC 284 in Perth will have to defend the championship belt against the best fighter of the organization Alexander Volkanovski.
