Arman Tsarukyan is ready to make a challenger fight

If the world’s strongest league is in doubt as to who should next challenge current UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev, Arman Tsarukyan, who knocked out Benil Dariush in 64 seconds last weekend, is ready to fight one of the division’s top three contenders.

In an interview. Vadim Tikhomirov said the manager of the Russian lightweight, Sayat Abdrakhmanov.

“Arman is ready to fight next for the title,” Abdrakhmanov said. “If he’s not, and Oliveira thinks he’s next, we can go against Oliveira to find out exactly who should be the legitimate challenger. If earlier Dana White said that Oliveira is unequivocally next, now at the press conference he threw up some food for thought”

“Porier and Gaethje, it’s unlikely that they and Arman will agree to fight, but we’re going to try anyway. I believe that Arman will be able to find the key to defeat each of these opponents. Right now Arman is very happy, full of confidence, and ready for all challenges”

At the same time, Abdrakhmanov is not sure that Makhachev will make his next title defense before Ramadan.

“The UFC already has titles for January, February and March. Whether they will add another title to the card is unknown

As a reminder, Charles Oliveira, Justin Gaethje and Dustin Porier are currently ranked No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 in the UFC’s lightweight division rankings, respectively.
