The organization of the battle was reported by informed sources close to the situation.
Former UFC light heavyweight title challenger Anthony Smith broke a three-game streak in the previous fight, losing by TKO in the second round to Magomed Ankalaev.
Johnny Walker, on the contrary, scored two early victories, having dealt with Ion Cutelaba and Paul Craig in the first rounds.
Currently, Anthony Smith and Johnny Walker are ranked fifth and seventh in the UFC light heavyweight division, respectively.
