If Nate Diaz is not interested in the offer of blogger Jake Paul, former WEC and UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis is ready to welcome the PFL rookie into the cage.
“Welcome to the PFL, Jake Paul,” Showtime wrote on the social media, commenting on the YouTuber’s upcoming mixed martial arts debut. “I’d be more than happy to welcome you to the MMA league if Nate isn’t available.”
Hours earlier, the PFL officially announced it had signed a long-term deal with 25-year-old Jake Paul, who will compete in the Super Fight celebrity division and receive 50% of pay-per-view sales.
At the same time, the blogger himself, who has six victories in professional boxing, announced that he wants to see Nate Diaz as his next opponent, who was offered to hold two fights – one according to the rules of boxing, and the other according to the rules of MMA.
35-year-old Anthony Pettis has been playing in the PFL since 2021, and during this time he managed to spend five fights under the league banner, scoring one win and suffering four losses.
