Andrey Orlovsky gave a prediction for the fights of Peter Yan and Magomed Ankalaev

Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Orlovsky shared his opinion on the upcoming fights involving Russian fighters Peter Yan and Magomed Ankalaev.

According to “Pitbull,” the former UFC lightweight champion will have a tough matchup with Song Yadong, who the Russian will face on March 9 at UFC 299 in Miami.

“I hope that Yan has recovered, rested, collected himself, and is ready,” Orlovsky said in response to fan questions on social media. “So, everything depends on him. He has a great team, and the fight if in America, he will probably come to train with American Top Team, so we’ll see. But it’s going to be a really interesting fight, and I think a very difficult fight for Yan.”

As for Magomed Ankalaev, the former UFC champion believes the Russian welterweight will get an early victory over Brazilian Johnny Walker.

“Ankalaev, I think first to second round. By the way, we’re fighting in the same card together, January 13.”

Recall that a potential light heavyweight contender fight between Magomed Ankalaev and Johnnie Walker on January 13 will headline UFC Fight Night 234 in Las Vegas, and Andrei Orlovsky will share the octagon with American Waldo Cortez-Acosta as part of the event.
